Introducing Maddy: The Unstoppable Mexican Mix
Meet Maddy, a heartwarming tale of a canine who triumphed over adversity with grace and a heart full of love. This sweet three-year-old Mexican mix came into our lives under dire circumstances. We received a call about a dog who had been tragically struck by a car and left to fend for herself with a broken back leg. With a heart full of compassion, we knew we had to step in to help this brave soul.
After welcoming Maddy into our home, our top priority was addressing her injuries. A cast was placed on her injured leg, and a journey of healing, both physically and emotionally, began. It's been an incredible journey watching her progress and transform into the happy and healthy dog she is today.
Maddy's indomitable spirit shines through in every step she takes. While her leg may still bear the physical marks of her past trauma, she has adapted beautifully. You might notice a slightly unique gait, but that's just a testament to her perseverance. It doesn't slow her down one bit! In fact, Maddy continues to inspire us daily with her zest for life and unwavering determination.
One of Maddy's most endearing traits is her adorable "boss-eyed" look, which only adds to her charm. It's hard not to fall in love with those soulful eyes that seem to say, "I've been through a lot, but I'm here to spread joy."
She adores people with a passion that's contagious. In addition to her love for people, Maddy is also good-natured around other dogs, proving that her heart is as big as her appetite for life. Every day, she works on building up her muscle mass in her back legs, and with each passing day, she grows stronger.
Maddy is healthy, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.
What does it cost to adopt a dog?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
