Nala, is on the lookout for her forever family! This sweet little girl has a story that tugs at the heartstrings, and we believe she deserves all the love and comfort a real home can provide.
Nala, along with her mom and sibling, had a rough start to life. They were brought in the back of a dusty pick-up truck, by a man who claimed they belonged to his daughter. However, something didn't quite add up about their living situation. According to the driver, they resided in a garage because they weren't allowed in the house. It's likely that Nala and Rocky missed out on crucial socialization during their key puppy fear periods.

The shelter, though a temporary refuge, is a loud and stressful place for a delicate soul like Nala. We strongly believe that she and her brother would thrive much better in a loving home environment. Nala like her brother needs a patient family with older, respectful children. She may initially be timid, but with time and care, he will learn that the world is not as big and scary as it may seem.
Please note that they will not be adopted together due to Sibling Syndrome, also with dogs that are fearful being homed together often compounds the fear making it harder for them to move on.
If you think you can provide Nala with the love, care, and active lifestyle she deserves, please fill out an application form.

Nala is healthy, vaccinated and ready for her forever home.

What does it cost to adopt a dog?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
