Three is the magic number…

I saw three butterflies today. They made me think of the beauty in this world that exists beside the obscurity and pain… Are four butterflies better than three? Is a dog a better friend when he has 4 legs not 3? Oh, the questions of a one dog named Bertie (yours truly), 4-year-old survivor, proud 17.6 lbs. of determination, strength, and love.

While I adjust to my life at the shelter as a tripod I hope to find joy and purpose in my life. Being in the arms of a loving person, having a forever home, and sharing smirks when we see a cat attempting to catch a bird. Dear feline, you have nothing on the feathered friends that bring my days to life with their morning song. 🐈⬛😏Well, I digress here… Let me turn right and arrive at the point of my emotional plight. ↪️🛣️
Please consider adopting me and giving me a forever home. If you saw my earlier post you know that I was attacked by other dogs at the place where I used to “live” (read suffer). It took a while for someone to step in and save me from that nightmare, and here I am. Please “take a chance on me.” You can reach out via adoption application and ask questions which is the BEST way to get in touch! As I practice my sashay I hope…

Hopeful, Bertie. 🤞
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
