"Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives."
📺🐕
Under the Mexican sun, tragedy and joy reside as neighbours, lives are saved and lost. High-stakes storylines, medical emergencies, and even an occasional plotline filled with romance envelop the “days of our lives” at Sula.
Daytime drama unfolds not only in the city of Salem (oh yes! “The Days of Our Lives” the best soap opera of the century!) The action focused on turbulent lives, loves and tragedies of the tv show families, may seem like a far reach when compared to rescue dogs at the Sula Society. However, the love, passion, and hope unite us all.
☀️🌴
While none of us the Sula’s rescue dogs are possessed by the devil like Deidre, we certainly can imagine following the footsteps of Hope, and work as a (snack) detectives. Yes, the rescue dogs have many proverbial hats, and as actors on stage learn their lines, we, the rescue canines relearn how to “be a dog.” Road to fame or an adoptive family is easy for some - if you are born into fame or love (that’s right Liam, we know your story!) Or it may be riddled with challenges and sorrow… Time passes by like grains of sand through the hourglass as we wait…
⌛🕑
Perseverance is what saved us, hope is what keeps us going, and love is what we have to offer. Patience for our turn to be noticed is what we all share…
Your future dog, and soap opera enthusiast, Blanket.💜💖
What does it cost to adopt me?
The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
What does the fee include?
First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues, and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
