This girl (with too many names to choose from 🥴😅), is searching for her forever home here in Puerto Vallarta...

Clover was found by Roy, close to the shelter when she was just a few months old and apart from seeing that she has a deformed nose, we soon after discovered that she also has a hole in the roof of her mouth and her teeth are aligned differently...she was born with a cleft palate and despite having 2 surgeries to try to close the hole, each time it did not stay closed because there is not enough skin to hold it together...we decided not to proceed with further operations, as she is happy, she eats well, she is not in any pain and she lives life as if she has no worries in the world... due to her cleft palate, we are looking for a home locally...she will need regular monitoring and cleaning of her mouth and we understand that this can be very expensive north of the border. 🛂

Aside from her cleft palate and deformed nose, Clover is a very playful, cheeky girl, who gets along great with other dogs and children, she loves to swim in the river...not so keen on the pool...she loves her food and can be a little grumpy if other dogs approach her while eating, but listens well when corrected...she loves to give noisy, slobbery kisses and she has the cutest little gargle snore.😴
