Coco clearly had an owner at one point, maybe they did not want her because she got old? Maybe because she got sick? She is between 8-10 years old, beautiful girl, but when she came into us our vet found that she had stones in her bladder. So she is having an operation to remove them.
I am sure we will be asked why we carry out a procedure on an older dog, especially when we are desperate for money, never knowing where the next peso will come from, and when the money could be spent on a younger dog, or to feed the ones we have.
The only way I can answer this, is when you look into Coco’s eyes, she is not ready to leave yet, she still wags her tail, and most importantly of all her prognosis is good, we always take the advice of our vet.

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

Vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed to get him healthy, spay or neuter by vet, food and care while at SULA, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance and any needed meds before flying, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness and leash for arrival, and endless love.
