More about me...

Más sobre mí

Good morning WORLD,

My name is Healey and I am a 2-year-old boy who weighs in at 7.7 kg (17 lbs.) – hence I am ready to travel with you if you seek in-cabin travel buddy. ✈️🌍🌴Aside from my stature being perfect for those who commute on a plane, I possess other qualities important to a “dog seeker.” I am sweet, charming, and scruffy at the moment. 😍💜While the first two qualities are permanent, please note that the latter will be absolved as soon as I meet someone called the “dog groomer.” I am not sure who this person is, and it sounds as if they provide a weird service… ❓🤔

Grooming could be defined not only as brushing or cleaning, but also as training or preparation for certain activity… Would that be a double whammy? I suppose I need it all! I imagine that first; I will get a bath and a haircut. After I smell fabulous and look handsome, I will be prepared to find a loving home. Do not ask me to speculate how that will look, as I do not have experience in that department. Gossip at the shelter is just that: a gossip. 🤫

I am not the one to sit on a juicy piece of information; however, I am on a journey of self-discovery. My interest in drama is minimal, but you may coax me into sharing few secrets… As I figure out who I am under all that scruffiness one thing is certain: I AM A LOVING BOY, SEEKING A LOVING HOME. If I twist one of the famous quotes from the movie “Notting Hill” I can say:

“I’m also just a boy, standing in front of you, asking to be loved.” I would square bracket this bad boy, but I did not think that my message looked how I wanted…💖

Sending my love to all of you,

Healey.

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
