Approximately 1.5 to 2 years old and weighing in at around 18 kilograms, Holly is a brave and resilient Doberman mix who has triumphed over adversity. Holly's story began in a heartbreaking manner, as she was discovered in a canal ditch, a victim of cruelty perpetrated by children who callously threw her into the water. The physical toll was evident, as she bore bruises from this traumatic incident.

Thankfully, Holly's journey took a turn for the better when she found her way to SULA where compassionate staff embraced her. Despite her initial timidity and fear of the world around her, Holly's transformation has been awe-inspiring. With patience, care, and the love of dedicated shelter staff, Holly's true spirit began to shine through.

She is good with other dogs at the shelter and is a joy to be around.

What does it cost to adopt a dog?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.
