Weight: 18kg (40lbs)
Spayed / Neutered: Yes

Breed: Whippet / Mexi Mix

Joe has been patiently waiting for his forever home for far too long, he has been in the shelter for 2 1/2 years. ๐Ÿ’” Joe's journey has been a tough one, as he came to the shelter after his mom was tragically shot, leaving him in need of someone to raise him.

Joe appears to be a delightful mix of Whippet and Greyhound, boasting the graceful qualities of both breeds. His sleek and elegant physique is matched by his gentle temperament.

Joe is a friendly and sociable dog who gets along well with other dogs. He enjoys the company of his furry friends and is always up for playtime. While he may exhibit some food resource guarding behaviour, it's essential to note that this behaviour can be addressed through positive reinforcement training. With the right guidance and patience, Joe is sure to overcome this habit and become an even more loving and well-behaved companion.

Joe is a dream on the leash, making those daily walks a pure delight. He walks with grace and doesn't pull, ensuring that your outings are both pleasant and stress-free.

Joe is that "other black dog" that often gets overlooked at the shelter, but he has so much love to give and is deserving of a forever home where he can thrive and be a loyal companion.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving, and loyal canine companion, please consider giving Joe a chance. His eyes reflect the hope and yearning for a family of his own. With the right home, he'll undoubtedly blossom into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.

Joe is healthy, vaccinated and ready for his forever home.
