More about me...

Más sobre mí

Hello Everyone,

My name is Lotus and I am a chi mix lady. My story how I got to Sula with my 2 sisters is the story of indifference of one individual, and the heart of gold of another. Someone has given a boy 200 pesos to get rid of us, but instead he has reached out to Sula for help. Thanks to this caring young man we are ALIVE. We have a chance to become valued family members, and loving companions. Young boy – you are the CHANGE we want to see in the world! Thank you!

My coat is red with cream and white tones. I seem to have some dachshund in me, as I do have a longer body and fabulous short legs… I am not 100 % sure, as I do not feel that DNA testing is necessary to determine my heritage. I am 100% puppy, 100% lovely – that is all that matters. I am ready to find my forever home, as I prance at the Sula rescue. I am healthy, vaccinated, and full of love.

I await your application as I continue to explore and learn about the world around me.

Hugs, Lotus.🥰

P.S. Did you know that lotus flower is a living fossil that survived an Ice Age (1.8 million – 10,000 years ago?) I also share a name with a fancy car… 🪷🏎️

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

First of all, vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed, as well as spay or neuter by our vet. Secondly, food and care while at SULA (we love all our rescues and pour our hearts out each day to provide best life possible). Further, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness, and leash for arrival. Lastly, our endless love.
