Dear Diary,

Ricky 2 here again… Another day comes and goes as I try to adjust to my new life at the shelter… As a 10-year-old I must admit: change is hard, especially that I came in injured and needed medical attention in the midst of my emotional turmoil… 😟🐩🖤There was no time to learn about each other and gain trust when my medical needs took a priority. Sigh… How do I feel comfortable in this new environment when everything is foreign…❓😨 I do not have a one thing with me that is familiar (I have no pockets, and someone stole my luggage.)

As the sun rises and another day unfolds I ponder what will come my way… Even though I am a tiny dude (7.7 lbs.) with curly hairdo, my age determines my faith… Local foster status on my profile indicates low chance of adoption but hope to find a long-term (read: forever) foster home.
