I am shouting out as loud as I can to everyone, if you already have a Sula dog, do you have a little bit of room for another? If you are thinking of getting a dog, please look no further, if you have just lost a dog and your heart is broken, we know that another dog cannot take your best friends place, but you have a space that that Tacho needs, and he has so much love to give, perhaps you can heal together.
Tacho has a way of making you feel very humble, to see how he still trusts humans, despite having been beaten on a daily basis, how much he wants to love you, and his friendly positive attitude. As the saying goes ‘you can’t keep an old dog down’ ( Tacho is a sprightly 5 years). I cannot help but wonder how long he suffered the beatings before he came to us.
Some of you will have seen the video of Tacho’s owner beating him, whilst he is cowering, pushing and pulling him. Thank fully neighbors who had seen what was going on alerted us to Tacho’s plight, and he is now safe.
We have so many dogs just like Tacho, but let’s start one at a time, please help us to find this boy somewhere he can feel loved, feel safe and have the life he deserves.

What does it cost to adopt me?

The adoption costs are $3,000 MXN for Mexican Nationals, $550 CND Canadian or $400 USD for Temporary or Permanent residents living in Mexico. Adoption costs for dogs adopted in countries other than Mexico are $750 CND or $600 US dollars. Don't forget, wherever you live, to budget for all the other things your new fur-baby will need.

What does the fee include?

Vet blood work and check up, including all needed follow-ups, any medications needed to get him healthy, spay or neuter by vet, food and care while at SULA, the vet pre-flight check up and clearance and any needed meds before flying, transport to the airport, all paperwork, all vaccinations, the cost for the airline transport, and use of a kennel in transport, harness and leash for arrival, and endless love.
