Teddy has spent far too long waiting for someone to choose him. He was dumped outside our shelter on Christmas Eve — an older dog suddenly left behind, confused and without the family he had known. 💔
That was not how Teddy’s story should have gone.

Now approximately 11–12 years old and 22 kg, Teddy is a lovely senior gentleman who still has so much companionship and love to give. He is gentle, loyal and wonderful with people, and he’s perfectly happy with the simpler things in life — a leisurely stroll, a comfortable place to rest, someone nearby and, most importantly, the security of knowing he belongs. 🥹❤️

Teddy would prefer to be the only dog in his home, where he can finally enjoy having his people and their attention all to himself. He also does well with older children.
We know senior dogs are often overlooked. People see their age and worry there won’t be enough time. But Teddy doesn’t need someone to promise him forever.
He just needs someone to make whatever time he has left wonderful. ❤️

A soft bed.
Gentle walks.
A person to follow around the house.
A quiet place to snooze.
And the feeling of being loved and wanted again.
After everything Teddy has been through, we desperately want to see him leave shelter life behind.
🏡 ADOPTION would be our dream for Teddy.
But if adoption isn’t possible, we would also love to find him a forever foster home in the Puerto Vallarta area, where he could spend his golden years surrounded by love.

Please don’t let this sweet old boy spend the rest of his life waiting. Somewhere out there is a person who could completely change Teddy’s world — simply by giving him a home. 🧸💙
